Back From Bulgaria and Portugal
July 13, 2010The last three weeks have been busy as we’ve been to play festivals in Balchik, Bulgaria and Lisbon, Portugal. Bulgaria treated us incredibly well and we had a fabulous time on the coast of the Black Sea! We closed the festival on Saturday night and then partied until very early in the morning with some really fun people. It was a long flight there and back and a week later we were in Lisbon to play the Alive festival where we got to share the stage with the Legendary Tigerman who had a bevy of red hot women singing for him. Peaches, Phoebe, Claudia, Maria, Rita, Cibelle and Lisa took turns blowing the place up, along with Phoebe and the Short Straws and Claudia and the Micro Audio Waves before we got to take the stage at about 2 am. It was a great crowd that filled the tent and it seemed over too soon. Thanks again to everyone who put the festival on and made out trip a great success! All this and we got to watch Spain win the world Cup!
