September 7, 2010If I may say so myself, and I may, this tour is really starting out on the right foot! Carletta Sue Kay was a sight to behold on Sunday night at the El Rio. Had no idea it was gonna be an Inland Empire power night. Carletta hails from Fontana, CA, home town of my baby Bob Vennum! The house was also full of my favorite transplants making the night one to remember. We also played a bunch of the new songs and specifically “Anymore.” That tune came from a loss in 2009 of a great man named Thomas Gibson. We were able to play it for his daughter and my dear friend Natasha at that show as well. So much good fun and a great show. Loads of photos posted on facebook so find them there and we’ll post some here as well.
Sitting at the Rickshaw in Vancouver in the hopes that all of this will eventually end in a sound check. Will let you know how it turns out.

Dear Lisa and Gang,
Thanks so much for coming up and blowing us all away again. I felt privileged to be able to bring my family to see some real rock’n roll; it’s my 4th Bellrays show and their first and they freakin’ loved it! We were so glad to meet you and participate in the rock, thanks for taking the time to take a pic with my girls and chat. I hope Doug can hook us up to play with you all sometime, it would truly be an honor.
